Product details

Sterilization pouches – self-adhesive, paper and foil, are disposable medical packaging that are designed for steam sterilization in an autoclave. They are manufactured in accordance with current standards PN-EN 868-3 and 5 and PN-EN ISO 11607-1 and 2. They are made of the highest quality medical paper and foil resistant to any damage. Each pouch has a special seal that prevents the foil from tearing while packing the tools. Additionally, all packages are equipped with external and internal indicators of the sterilization process which inform about the progress of the process by changing the color of the indicator from pink to black.

Characteristics of sterilization pouches:

the pouches are self-adhesive – this means that you do not need a special sealing machine
are pre-folded, which facilitates correct and fast closing of the package
they have a special thumb cut-out at the very top of the packet to facilitate opening
each pouch has a corresponding batch number
the foil and paper layer is resistant to damage or tearing and provides adequate protection against microorganisms
additional welds on the sides and corners of the pouch prevent the film from curling
thanks to the transparent foil the content of the package is clearly visible

Directions for use:
Place the previously disinfected and dry items you wish to sterilize in the pouch (it is recommended to place one instrument in each pouch). Immediately before closing the package, remove the strip covering the adhesive layer. Then bend the pre-folded edge of the paper and seal it tightly.  It is important to fill the package with instruments to approx. 75% to avoid damage to the package during sterilization. (If more than one item is placed in the package it is important that they do not come into direct contact with each other because then the sterilization process may not work properly).
